there's not a brick wall

thick enough

to bang my head against

what were you thinking

or were you

just not thinking

technically you weren't

lying when

you told your lies to me

I just don't buy it now

or ever

lies are lies are lies

You expect me to

trust in you

to bare my heart and soul

yet you hide the truth

and then make

excuses to make it okay

backpedaling and stammering

trying to

cover up the mistakes

instead of admitting

to yourself

and to me that you lied

How many times will you

break the trust

that I had in you

will I get it back, will you

earn it back

or will you let our love die.
